MILO Chicago MINT Preforum 2022 - Recording
This session will help participants modify their existing MI training to meet the specific learning needs of a new training group: leaders learning to lead with MI. The session will include a dyadic discussion around what makes an MI training for leaders different from an MI training for traditional MI learners. During the session, facilitators will guide participants in interactive activities that examine the adaptation of MI to leadership, and session facilitators will share their own adaptations to teaching MI for leadership. During small group breakouts, participants will have an opportunity to collaboratively develop specific training exercises that they can adapt and apply in their own training. Participants will also have an opportunity to share and demonstrate the exercises they’ve developed within their small groups to participants outside of their breakout groups, so that by the conclusion of the session, each participant will have gained a diverse set of tools and exercises that they can use in their own MI in leadership training moving forward.
